The start of the World Baseball Classic didn’t start off good for the United States. A loss to Mexico in their first game meant the U.S. had to win each of their next two games. A win over Italy brought them to the elimination against Canada. Winner would go to Miami, while the loser would go back to Spring Training. (more…)
Teixeira is the latest Yank to go down

Mark Teixeira was scratched from the World Baseball Classic following an to his right wrist. What was originally thought to be just ten days has now turned into a nightmare for the Yankees. Teixeira is now out at least 8 – 10 weeks. (more…)

With Spring Training underway Kyle Lohse is still without a team. The question is for how much longer? Lohse put up career numbers last year, while being the ace of the St. Louis Cardinals. However, being one of the biggest names on free agency hasn’t made his phone ring. (more…)
